Obituary for James “Rob” Robert Smothers Jr. James “Rob” Robert Smothers Jr., 57 of Louisville passed away on June 16, 2018 at his home. He was a member of Davidson Memorial United Methodist Church of Shepherdsville. He grew up living in Shepherdsville, KY and has moved to Colorado, Texas, Georgia, Florida, Oregon, Idaho, Nebraska for work Rob is survived his parents Beverly Will (David) of Louisville and James Smothers Sr., of Carson City, NV; his sisters Julie Pierce (John) of Reno, NV, Jennifer Campbell (Chris) of El Paso, TX and Kelly Will (Matt) of Louisville; his step brother David Will (Becky); his nieces and nephews Meghan Langat (Kip), Mollie Merine (Kalaeb), Vivienne Linville, Naomi Linville, and Gwendolyn Linville; his aunts and uncles Dr. Rick Cundiff (Martha) and Dolores Kneller (John); with many beloved friends that were like family to him; along with his beloved pet Russell. Cremation has been chosen by the family with a memorial service to be at a later date.
