Obituary for James H. Hare Sr. James H. Hare, Sr. (Known by many as the Great JH) of Fort Pierce, FL passed peacefully at the age of 75 on June 17, 2018. James served our great Nation in the United States Army during the early stages of the Vietnam war. It was in the military where he found his lifelong passion for building the better rifle. Many would consider rifles manufactured by James at his H&H Custom Rifle some of the finest built. With his attention to detail, their accuracy was second to none. James was also an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, trapping, fishing & simply just being in the woods. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Naomi M. Hare; son, James H. Hare, Jr. (spouse Laurie) James Jr’s children (Jackie, Elisa, Christopher & Kayla). Daughter, Angela D. Boone (spouse James) Angela’s children (Josh, Emily & James). Sister, Judy Raulerson & many nieces & nephews. And last but certainly not lease James’ loving dog Chloe. Arrangements have been entrusted to Yates Funeral Home of Fort Pierce, FL. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A service will take place Saturday, June 23, 2018 beginning at 1:00 pm with an immediate graveside burial to follow at White City Cemetery.
