James A McElhinney 1932 2018

Obituary for James McElhinney James A. McElhinney – 85, of May Landing, NJ, originally from the Bronx, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 29, 2018. He is survived by his loving wife, Joan, (4) children, Roisin, James, Kevin and Kathy, sister, Maryellen Speckman, and 9 grandchildren. He served in the Marine Corp from 1950 to 1952. He graduated from Montclair State College in 1981 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He retired from Metropolitan Life Insurance Company after 30 years of service. James was a wonderful husband and father who loved meeting new people. His sense of humor and laugh were infectious. Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate his life on Saturday, June 2, at the Church of St. Katharine Drexel, 6077 West Jersey Ave., Egg Harbor Twp., where Mass will be held at 10 AM.
