Irene Coleman Brooks, 79, of Tuscumbia, AL passed away June 25, 2018. Visitation will be Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 12-2 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with the service to follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. She retired from General Motors after 12 plus years of loyal service. She is survived by her husband, David Brooks; daughters, Kimberly Mitchell (Ricky), Elaine Brooks, Sue Craig (Tim), Karen Bohac (Mike), and Wanda Meder (Jon); sons, Tommy Brooks (Amye) and Kenny Brooks (Debbie); sister, Myrtle Bennett (Gary); brother, Jimmy Hunt; host of loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
