St. Albans – Guy W. Bahrt a resident of this community for 10 years passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at his home with his family at his side. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on September 28, 1955, he was the son of the late Giles W. and Helen (Parker) Bahrt. Guy was 62 years old. Guy was educated in Ohio and in June of 1973 he entered the U.S. Army, he received his honorable discharge in June of 1976. Guy spent time in France, where he trained as a Souse Chef. During the 2004 &… Read More » 2005 Maple Festival, he entered his sauce and won the overall sauce category. Until his illness, Guy was a Field Service Engineer for Abacus/VT Service Center. He was a member of the Clifton-Gaston Lodge # 664, F&AM, Franklin Lodge # 4, F&AM and St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Pamela (Custer) Bahrt of St. Albans and their daughter, Nichole Bahrt and her husband, Simon Embley of Derbyshire, UK and a sister, Patricia David of Willoughby, Ohio. Friends may call on Guy’s family on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 11 Church Street, St. Albans. A masonic ritualistic service by Franklin Lodge # 4, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. followed by a funeral service officiated by The Reverend Megan Stowe. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the American Cancer Society, Vermont Chapter, 55 Day Lane, Williston, Vermont 05495.
