Obituary of Gertrude Gaudreau Gertrude M. Gaudreau, 98, of Manchester, husband of the late Gerard A. Gaudreau passed away on Thursday June 28th at Manchester Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. Born May 31, 1920 to the late Joseph and Antoinette (Couture) Charpentier, she was a founding and active member of St. Bartholomew Church, and their mother’s circle, and with the Manchester Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Gift shop. Gertrude is survived by her daughter Betsy Hoagg of Orlando, FL, her sons Dave Gaudreau and his wife Kate of East Hartford, Don Gaudreau of Glastonbury, Pete Gaudreau and his wife Liz of Manchester, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her seven siblings; she was the last of eight children. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Monday July 2nd at 10:30AM at St. Bartholomew Church 45 Ludlow Rd. Manchester, CT. Family and Friends may call Sunday July 1st from 3:00-6:00 PM at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 W. Center St. Manchester.
