Obituary for Gerald Fischer Gerald “Jerry” Fischer, 86, of Boulder passed away on May 9, 2018. Jerry was born on August 22, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY to Benjamin and Jean Fischer. Jerry graduated from Rutgers University. On October 26, 1958 Barbara and Jerry were married. Jerry enjoyed tennis, reading, music and he loved the outdoors, especially Chautauqua. Jerry is survived by his wife, Barbara; children, Sharon Samuels (Bob), Bonnie Turetsky (David) and Randy Fischer; brother, Newell Fischer (Ruth); and grandchildren, Alexandra Samuels, Kara Samuels, Samantha Turetsky and Jordan Turetsky. There will be a graveside service on Friday, May 11 at 3:00 PM at Mountain View Cemetery. A reception will immediately follow at Greenwood and Myers Mortuary.
