George Lullan Giddens Sr 2018

George Lullan Giddens Sr, 87 of Gainesville, Ga passed away June 28th, 2018 peacefully at home surrounded by family. At his request, he will be cremated and have a private, immediate family only memorial. Mr. Giddens was born December 17th, 1930 in Key West, Florida to the late Oscar Giddens and Florence Muir. He is one of four siblings. He was a 9 year veteran of the US Navy during the Korean War, serving on 10 vessels and most notably was on the USS Cochino when it sunk in the North Sea in August 1949. George is preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Ann Mason Giddens. He is survived by his children George Giddens Jr, Brenda Robillard (Bob), Michael Giddens and Deborah Van Patten (Scott) and grandchildren George Giddens III (Michelle), Matthew Giddens and Phillip Giddens; Daniel Robillard, Kristi Human (Marty) and Sherry Rondeau; Michelle Giddens and Sarah Giddens; Scott Van Patten Jr (Jordan) and Amanda Van Patten. He has 15 great-grandchildren.
