Flora Dinnocenzo Age 91, of Wilkins Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 21, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Jennie (Nese) Dinnocenzo and the beloved sister of Kathryn Marinelli (late James), John (Edith) Dinnocenzo, the late Patsy Dinnocenzo, the late Rose Rossetti (late Frank), the late Sandra Kuretich (late Joseph) and the late Anthony (late Mary) Dinnocenzo. Cherished aunt of numerous nieces and nephews including Rosemary (Paul) Cercone, James Marinelli, Jennifer (Thomas) Sweeney, Anthony (Cindy) Rossetti, Joseph (Colleen) Rossetti, Cindy (James) Omstrom, Susan Patterson, David Kuretich, Debra (Rick Swegan) Dinnocenzo, Mary (Bob) Bencivenga, Joseph (Olesya) Dinnocenzo, John Dinnocenzo, and the late Anthony Dinnocenzo. She was also beloved by her many great-nieces and nephews, in particular the late Christina Sweeney Goldberg. Flora was born and raised in Linhart by her sister Rose. She retired as a district manager from Avon after 17 years of dedicated service, and was the recipient of numerous sales awards in that role. Flora was devoted to her siblings, and often served as a surrogate mother to her nieces and nephews. She had a strong sense of family, and was always ready to aid those in need. She had extraordinary tailoring skills, had a knack for a wide array of handicrafts and was passionate about cooking and gardening. She faithfully maintained and meticulously cared for the family home along with her beloved brother Patsy for over 70 years. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Presbyterian Senior Care in Oakmont (the Willows) for their care for Flora over the past eighteen months. Private visitation and interment handled by Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. with a funeral mass on Tuesday June 26 (Time later) at St. Colman Church in Turtle Creek. The family suggests donations in Flora’s memory to the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund (curealz.org/).
