Obituary for Evelyn Larkin Evelyn M. (Beach) Larkin, 91, of Southington, passed away on Friday, June 1st at the Summit at Plantsville. She was the wife of the late Lawrence J. Larkin. She was born in Cleveland, OH, on April 30, 1927, the daughter of the late Albert and Marie (Dula) Beach. Prior to her retirement she had been an administrative assistant at American Standard. She was an avid fan of the ladies UCONN basketball. She is survived by her children Mary Margaret Valentine, Brian and his wife Kathy Larkin, and Patricia Barber all of Southington, her grandchildren Amanda and Christopher Larkin, Jaime Josefiak, Taylor LaPointe, Dominic Valentine, Daniel Hungerford, Bill and Lauren Lami and many great-grandchildren as well as a brother Donald Beach. She was predeceased by a grandson TJ Valentine and 2 sisters and a brother. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:15 am from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. to Mary Our Queen Church, 248 Savage St. Plantsville for a Mass at 11am. Burial will be at South End Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 4-7 pm.
