Obituary for Evelyn Adcox Evelyn Adcox, 86, passed away on Saturday June 09, 2018 at Hattiesburg Heath and Rehab. She was a member of Michael Memorial Baptist Church in Gulfport and Pecan Grove Baptist Church in Ellisville before she moved to the coast. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Visitation will be held at Memory Chapel Funeral Home on Tuesday June 12, 2018 from 12:00-2:00 pm with services to follow in the chapel. Bro. John Cockrell will officiate. Burial will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold L. Adcox Sr.; parents, Lois and Alma Windham; one brother and three sisters. She was survived by one son, Harold L. Adcox Jr; two daughters, Vanessa (Richard) Smith, Rebecca (Gary) Jordan; one brother, Jack Windham; one sister, Barbara Huggins; four grandchildren, Traci (Josh) Baker, Zackeriah K. Smith, Joshua (Rebekah) Kelley and Lillian (Aaron) Clingan; and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Josh Baker, Joshua Kelley, Zack Smith, Richard Smith, Tommy Stewart, and Scotty Huggins.
