Etta Jean Trujillo, age 74, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully, Thursday, June 7, 2018, while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Jemez Springs, NM on January 5, 1944, and was a resident of Ponderosa, NM. Etta Jean’s hobbies and interests were quilting, (which she won multiple blue ribbons for), gardening, reading, and spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Etta Ramsey; sister, Margie Ball; and brother Lovell Ramsey. Etta is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Ramon Trujillo; her children, Richard Trujillo and wife Agnes, Lori Kuykendall and husband Danny, Tommy Trujillo and wife Melissa, and Sonny Trujillo; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her loving siblings, Dixie Jaramillo, Sadie Jo Rogers, Deborah Aragon, and Richard Ramsey. Etta will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched. A Rosary will be recited Monday, June 11, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Santo Toribio Catholic Church, in Ponderosa, NM, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Ponderosa Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steven “Poncho” Trujillo, Thaddeus Trujillo, Sonny Trujillo Jr., Tyson Strain, Davi Griego, and Danny Kuykendall.
