Obituary for Ernie Bohannon Ernie Gene Bohannon, age 68 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life Monday, June 18, 2018, at his home in Cookeville. He was born Thursday, November 24, 1949, he was the son of the late Hershel and Pearlie Ann (Lee) Bohannon. Ernie was a loving Husband, Father, Brother, and friend to everyone that knew him. He was a member of Rocky Point Baptist Church, served in the U.S. Army, and was employed at Lowe Lumber Company for many years. He is survived by his Wife of 39 years: Patricia (Clouse) Bohannon of Cookeville, TN 1 Son: Jason Bohannon of Cookeville, TN 1 Sister: Mary Magdalene Bohannon of Cookeville, TN 1 Brother: Billy Dean Bohannon of Monterey, TN Several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a Sister, Geneva (Lee) Vickers, and 3 Infant Brothers. Funeral services for Ernie will be held Thursday June 21, 2018 beginning at 4:00 pm from the Chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Nolan Cantrell and Bro. Jimmy Lee officiating. Interment will follow in James Bohannon Cemetery in Cookeville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and again Thursday from 2:00 pm until time of service at 4;00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to James Bohannon Cemetery Fund at Regions Bank or at the funeral home.
