Of Saugus, formerly of Lynn – Ernest M. Littlefield, Jr., age 86, died at the Saugus Rehab and Nursing Center in Saugus on Saturday, June 16th. Born and raised in Lynn, Ernest was the son of the late Ernest and Alice (Holmquist) Littlefield, Sr. He was a former foreman for C.L. Hauthaway in Lynn for over 50 years. Mr. Littlefield was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Ernest is survived by one sister, Joanne Flanders and her husband John of NH; two brothers, Ralph Littlefield and his wife Janice of Saugus and Harry Littlefield of NH; bother-in-law, Daniel Forrest of NC. He was predeceased by three brothers, Francis, Alfred and Howard Littlefield and one sister, Alice Forrest. At the family’s request, services and burial are private.
