Obituary for Ernest Arthur Sida Ernest Arthur Sida, passed away April 20, 2018 at The University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT with family at his side. He was born December 20, 1957 in Alamogordo, New Mexico to Ysabel and Chrestine Guilez Sida. He was 1 of 12 children blessed to this union. He grew up in New Mexico until his family relocated to Utah when he was a young adult. He had an exceptional work ethic and worked for many years as a painter. He was known as a Jack of All Trades. He could fix anything. He enjoyed playing the guitar, demonstrating his artistic ability by whittling and carving wood and was an excellent cook. He was known as the “Magic Man” and loved to thrill family, friends and strangers with his magical ability. He was an expert chess player and was never defeated. He was given the nickname by his family as “Wingo”. He loved his children and grandchildren very much. He was a Christian and a very kind and loving soul. He is survived by his Children: Patricia Sida, Ernest Sida, Jr. (Ashley), Arthur Sida, Jacob Sida, Emilio Sida (Alexis); 11 Grandchildren with 1 on the way; 2 Great Grandchildren; Siblings: Benjamin Sida, Berlinda Duran, Louis Sida, Ramona Beckstrom (Kim), Stella Duran (Cruz), Veronica Hernandez, Cathy Sida, Joanne Muniz (Baldi) and a host of Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents and Siblings: David Guilez, Joe Sida and Irene Lopez. The family will remember his in a private celebration of his life.
