Obituary for Ellen Elizabeth Bruegger Ellen Elizabeth Bruegger, 41, of Eldon passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born on August 7,1976 in Phoenix, Arizona, the daughter of James and Diane (Zeher) Weightman. She was united in marriage on September 8, 2017 in Eldon to Chris Bruegger. She worked for many years in Housekeeping with the hotel industry. She recently worked for McDonalds and Hardees in Eldon and made many great friends along the way. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker for her children and husband. Ellen enjoyed creating beautiful Afghans and crafts for family and friends while crocheting. She found peace playing the piano, growing beautiful gardens and had a fun time growing pumpkins. She also loved watching movies and was an “old school” gamer, playing video gaming systems of the past including Atari’s and Nintendo’s. Ellen had a heart of gold and was a natural caregiver. She always put everyone before herself and had a heart for her fur babies, Snuggles and Mocha Frappe. Most of all, she loved her family and the memories they made will forever be cherished and loved. She is lovingly survived by her parents: James and Diane Weightman, of Carmargo, Oklahoma; her grandfather: Bob “Colorado Bob” Mishler of Eldon; her husband: Chris Bruegger of Eldon; two sons: Tanner Pontious of Colorado and Brian Weightman of Brumley; five siblings: Robbie, Steven, James, T.J. and Charice; one granddaughter: Kinzee Pontious and her fur baby: Mocha Frappe. She was preceded in death by one fur baby: Snuggles. A Celebration of Ellen’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Eldon Christian Church with Dr. Bill Foglesong officiating.
