Elizabeth Gluck 1922 2018

Obituary of Elizabeth Gluck Elizabeth Gluck passed away peacefully on June 7, 2018. She was 96. Born in Hungary to Mr. and Mrs. Pek, she and her family moved to the United States in 1938 at the age of 14. She lived in both Newark and Union before living in Mendham. Elizabeth was an active parishioner of St. Luke’s Parish in Long Valley, NJ, following her time as a parishioner of St. Michael’s Parish in Union, NJ. She was a wonderful homemaker and gardener who raised her family with her husband, the late Joseph Gluck. She belonged to and spent plenty of time with the Senior Citizen’s Club and the Knights of Columbus in Union. Elizabeth is survived by her son, Bob and his wife Gloria ; granddaughters Kristin Hoffman (Robert), Carey Anne Gluck, Caitlin Gluck, and Courtney Buxton (Brooks) ; great grandchildren Grace Hoffman, Michael Becke, Jonathan, Christopher & Kenneth Bomensatt, Broderick Buxton; and many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to visit with the family of Elizabeth on Monday, June 11, from 2-5 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Road, Mendham, NJ 07945. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, June 12, at 11 AM at St. Luke’s Parish, 265 W Mill Rd, Long Valley, NJ 07853. In lieu of flowers, donations in Elizabeth’s memory can be made to St. Luke’s Parish.
