Obituary for Elizabeth “Liz” Gorence (Jordan) Dateline – Wells Elizabeth H. “Liz” Gorence, 70, a resident of Wells, ME for the past 39 years, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Newton Center in Sanford following a short illness with cancer. She was born in Norwich, CT on September 24, 1947, lived and grew up in Ledyard, CT. She is predeceased by her parents, Harold Jordan and Helen (Domoracki) Jordan. Liz is survived by her two sons, Jim Gorence and wife Laurie of Simms, MT, Steve Gorence and significant other Kim Grant of North Berwick, ME; five grandchildren, Courtney Arabis of Columbia, SC, Preston Gorence of Ladsun, SC, Casey and Cayla Gorence of Simms, MT, Seisha Gorence of North Berwick, ME; maternal aunt, Ruth Goulart of Bozrah, CT; and eight cousins.
