Eli Caleb Padgett, 20, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 26, at Pauline Church of Christ with interment in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Denver Padgett, Lee Padgett, Avery Wash, Bryson Yonce, Kenny Keisler, and Cody Roebuck. Honorary pallbearers will be his hunting, fishing and running buddies. He… Read More » was a member of First Baptist Church of Leesville and attended Pauline Church of Christ. If you looked up country in the dictionary, Eli’s picture was beside it. He was born to farm. He loved to hunt. Eli never met a stranger and never met someone who didn’t like him. Eli lived life big! Surviving are his parents, Dennis and Marcia Padgett; sister, Macey Padgett; grandparents, Annette Padgett, Marian Padgett; aunts and uncles, Trevor (Penny) Padgett, Kenny (Sharon) Padgett, Alan (Ginger) Harmon; and numerous cousins and family members. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Gerald Padgett and Leonardo “Knot” Padgett. The family will receive friends from 6:00- 8:00 P.M. Monday, June 25, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pauline Church of Christ or a charity of one’s choice.
