Eileen Mary Trainor, 87, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life on Saturday, June 2, 2018 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence. Born on September 15, 1930 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Walter J. and Eileen K. (Tone) Trainor. For 46 years, Eileen was employed as a nurses aide for Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Her family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the nurses and staff of Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence for their exceptional care shown to Eileen during her time there. Eileen is survived by two sisters, Elizabeth M. Agliata and Dorothy J. McGuckin; one brother, Donald J. Trainor and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by siblings, Walter W. Trainor, James M. Trainor, Barbara A. Dembek and Patricia A. Carella. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 5th from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, where prayers will be offered at 11:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 Noon in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY, with Rev. Duane Klizek serving as celebrant. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. Flowers are gratefully declined.
