Edward Turner Age 80, passed away Saturday June 16, 2018 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, with his family by his side. Survived by his wife Carol (Pomykala) Turner; children Larry (Carol) Turner, Jeff (Angie Orchard) Turner, Denise Turner, Kim (Jeff Combs) Turner, Donna Semrau, Kristalyn Turner and Ashley (Joe) Bartnik; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; brother Odell Turner and former wife Annette Turner. Preceded in death by his parents George and Rebecca Turner; siblings Ruby Higdon, Jean Creech, Claud Turner, Bill Turner, Oscar Turner and Kerm Turner. Born in Harlan County, Kentucky, living in Coal City, IL. Retired Business owner. Edward enjoyed Drag racing and spending time with his family. Funeral Services will be held, Wednesday June 20, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. As per Edward’s wishes, cremation rite will be accorded following the service. Visitation Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until time of services. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home would be appreciated.
