Earl K Andrew Sr 2018

Mr. Earl K. Andrew, Sr., 88, who resided on Airport Road, Waynesboro, PA with his son Earl Jr. and his family, passed away peacefully, Friday, June 29, 2018 in ManorCare, Chambersburg, PA. Born October 3, 1929 in Fairfield, PA he was the son of the late Russell and Nellie (Bowser) Andrew. He and his late wife, Patricia A. (Wetzel) Andrew were married December 12, 1973. Mrs. Andrew passed away February 2002. Mr. Andrew was employed as a mason at Heiges Masonry, Gettysburg, PA for over 40 years. He was well known for his artistic masonry skills. Mr. Andrew’s main hobby was his masonry work, he enjoyed helping farmers work on their barns and stone walls. He also enjoyed going catfishing with his family. He is survived by six children, Diane Long and her husband Charles of Gettysburg, Marsha Emory and her husband Bill of York Springs, PA, Kenneth Andrew of Gettysburg, Doug Andrew and his wife Roxanne of Emmitsburg, MD, Earl Andrew, Jr. and his wife Shirlee of Waynesboro, and Tracy Harris of Sumter, SC; eleven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was the last of his siblings. In addition to his parents and wife he is preceded in death by his first wife Susie “Carolyn” (Tyler) Andrew; four brothers, Charles Andrew, Richard Andrew, G. Stanley Andrew, and Joseph Andrew; a sister Vera Eiker; a son, Timothy “Chop” Andrew; a daughter, Terri Andrew; and a granddaughter Suzanne Andrew.
