Obituary for Dorothy Violet Spence Dorothy Violet Spence, 77, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Grayson Creek of Welcome. She was born in Premier, West Virginia to the late Edgar Williams Spence and Gladys Marie Williams Spence on June 21, 1940. She graduated from Extended Day School in 1985. She was saved in Jesus’ name and gave herself to the Lord. She leaves to cherish her memories a son, Kenneth (Velma) Everhart of Lexington; two daughters, Angie Everhart of Salisbury and Melissa (Steve Skipper) Everhart of Lexington; two brothers, Bobby Spence of Virginia and Raymond Spence of Oklahoma; four sisters: Lillian Higgens of Lexington, Josie Woods of Clarkville, Va., Gracie Sigmon of Bassett, Va. and Virginia Brown of Lexington; 17 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside service will be held at the Patrick Memorial Garden in Spence Family Plot, Patrick Spring, Va. on Saturday at 1:00pm.
