Obituary for Dorothy Hillhouse (Haynes) Dorothy “Dot” Hillhouse, age 89, of Canton, GA passed away Friday, June 15, 2018 at Brian Nursing Center. She was a lifetime member of Hopewell Baptist Church in the Sixes Community. Dot was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and loved to paint, sew, sing and play the piano and the organ. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Monday, June 18, 2018, from the Hopewell Baptist Church with Pastor Norman Hunt officiating. A private graveside service will be held at the Sixes United Methodist Church Cemetery following the Memorial Service. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Sunday, June 17, 2018 at the South Canton Funeral Home She was preceded in death by, Husband: Emmett (E.W.) Hillhouse, Brothers: Lloyd and Wesley Haynes, Sisters: Rachel Poore, Doris Glass, Irene Cantrell and Thelma Cantrell. Survivors include: Son – Phil (Jennifer) Hillhouse Grandchildren – Ridge and Trevor Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins also survive South Canton Funeral Home, dedicated to the families we serve, 770-479-3377.
