Obituary for Doris Lovin Dean Doris Lovin Dean, 85, of Bean Station, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 6, at Huntersville Oaks nursing facility in Huntersville, NC. A devoted wife and mother, she served the children of the Bean Station community for 23 years as a classroom teaching assistant at Bean Station Elementary. Preceded in death by her husband Coy, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Kevin and Sandy Dean of Huntersville, NC. Funeral services will be at 1 pm, Saturday, June 9, at Mayes Mortuary in Morristown, TN, with Pastor Jeff Sinnamon officiating. Interment will follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 8, from 5-7 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grainger County Humane Society.
