Obituary for Donald R. Findley Sr. Donald R. Findley, Sr., 84 A resident of Havertown passed away May 31, 2018. Mr. Findley was born in Philadelphia to the late Robert and Florence Findley and was a graduate of John Bartram High School. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during the Korean War. Mr. Findley was a member of the seniors group at Sacred Heart Church in Manoa. He enjoyed working with his hands around the house and riding his bike on the boardwalk. Predeceased by his wife Patricia (nee Thon) Findley, Companion, Helen (nee Jacoby) Gable and his sister, Doris F. Findley. He is survived by his children, Linda J. (Barry) Mendenhall, Donald R. (Carol) Findley, Jr. and Lisa A. (Mark) Campbell; grandchildren, Jenna, Jessica, Nicole, Miranda, Joshua and Samantha. Also survived by 5 great grandchildren. Graveside Service: Wednesday, 11:00 am Arlington Cemetery 2900 State Rd. Drexel Hill.
