Obituary for Delores Mae Beyers Delores “Doot” Mae Beyers was born on January 13, 1939. She passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the age of 79. Delores worked at Bay Bolt & Screw Company for 20 years before retiring and becoming a homemaker. She was a resident of Moss Point, MS and member of First Baptist Church of Helena. Delores is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, William T. “Shorty” Beyers; parents, Charlie and Audell Coon; sister, Viola Coon Thornhill; and brother, Billy Dan Coon. She is survived by her son, Greg (Kayla) Beyers; 3 grandchildren, Jessica Beyers, Hannah (Gary) Osborn, and Joshua Beyers; 8 great grandchildren, Brayden, Brantley, & Brittany Beyers, Emma, Laney, Gary Lynn, Olivia, & Brody Osborn; sisters, Mary Brumfield, Linda Ladnier, Marie (Mikey) Stewart, Jane (Jimmy) Johnson, and Peggy (Dub) Johnson; sister in law, Dana Coon; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Holder-Wells Coastal Funeral Home, 12800 Highway 613, Moss Point, MS with funeral services beginning at 3:00 pm. Interment will follow in Serene Memorial Gardens. Joshua Beyers, Brayden Beyers, Marty Stewart, Braxton Hyatt, Pat Hyatt, and Gary Osborn will serve as pallbearers.
