Obituary of Debra Kay Miller Debra Kay Miller “Debbie”, 62, of Morgantown, passed away unexpectedly May 30,2018. Debbie was born the youngest of 14 children to Murl and Leola (Savage) Snyder. Debbie was the most caring, kind and generous soul. Those who knew Debbie found her laughter and smile contagious. Just her presence lit up a room. In the spring of 1974, Debbie met the love of her life William “Bill” Miller. They were married September 21st of that year and spent the next 43 years together until her passing. Debbie endured numerous health issues throughout her life, but she was a fighter. The strongest woman her family ever new. Debbie was the glue that held this crazy family together. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed dearly by many. Debbie is survived by her husband William “Bill” Miller; her daughters and best friends Mary Jane Miller and Christina Miller. Debbie and Bill were blessed with 6 grandchildren Shanelle Miller, Kaitlyn Pride, Abby Pride, Donavan Rodriguez, Angel Rodriguez and Gabriella Rodriguez. Debbie also got to experience the birth of her first great grandchild Cora-Lea Mae Haddix in April of this year. Debbie is preceded in death by her mother and father, and her mother-in-law and father-in-law Mary L. West and William A. Miller. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home in Morgantown, WV, on Saturday, June 2nd from 2 – 8 PM and on Sunday, June 3rd from 10 AM until the time of service at 11 AM with Reverend Ken Snyder officiating. Interment will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery.
