David Wayne Wilkinson 1967 2018

Obituary for David Wilkinson David Wayne Wilkinson passed away June 5th, 2018 at the age of 50 years. A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Perkins, OK. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. David was born September 22, 1967 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He attended Coyle Public School and finished his education at Indian Meridian Vo-tech. He met his wife Tammie in Coyle and married two years later on August 26th, 1988. After their wedding, David and Tammie moved to Stillwater, Oklahoma where they lived and raised two daughters. David worked at Stillwater Typewriter Company for 21 years. He enjoyed working there until the fall of 2006, when he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. David devoted the rest of his time to being a loving husband, father, neighbor, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Perkins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Virgil and Jo Wilkinson. He is survived by his parents; Kenneth and Mary Wilkinson; wife, Tammie Wilkinson; two daughters, Jessica Reynolds (Andrew) and Kayla Wilkinson; one brother, Kenneth Wilkinson Jr. (Anita); one sister; Trina Bode (Bobby).
