David C. Luz, Jr., 77, husband of Carol A. (Barselou) Luz, passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018, surrounded by loving family members. He was born in Fall River, the son of his late father, David C. Sr., and surviving mother, Marianna (Farias) Luz. Dave had a passion for cars, and ran his own Service Station for years. He also enjoyed watching old Westerns and Game shows because Dave always had ‘all the answers’. In addition to his wife of 57 years, David leaves two daughters, Robin A. Bernier and her husband Warren of New Bedford, and Donna M. Pierce and her husband Robert of Marlborough; two siblings, Robert Luz of Fall River and Diane Lavoie of Attleboro; 8 grandchildren, Joshua, Emma, Sarah, Caileigh, Benjamin, Travis, Amber and Jenna; and many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late David R. Luz. Dave will be sadly missed by all who loved him. His funeral service will be held 11:00 am on Friday, June 8, 2018 at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 S. Main St. Fall River, followed by a burial at Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to service, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
