Obituary for David A. Chinn David A. Chinn, 59, of Philpot, passed away on June 21, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, KY. David was born Feb. 24, 1959, in Ohio County to the late Ralph Chinn and Sibyl Shultz Chinn. He was employed at CSX Transportation for the past 22 years. He was a member of Bethabara Baptist Church in Habit Kentucky He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in his yard, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He also was preceded in death by his first wife, Rhonda Morris Chinn in 2009. He is survived by his wife of six years, Ramona Chinn; his children, Brandon France of Amarillo, TX, Chris (Jennifer) France of Smyrna, TN, Cameron Cox and Tara Cox, both of Louisville, KY; one grandchild, Logan Cox; two brothers, Dennis (Rosie) Chinn of Walton, KY and Daryl (Portia) Chinn of Philpot, KY; two nephews; one niece; and three great nephews. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bethabara Baptist Church in Habit KY. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4 to 8 pm Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
