Obituary for Darrell Riggsby Darrell Wayne Riggsby, age 72, of Springboro, OH, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Sycamore Medical Center. He was born in Wolfe County, Kentucky on August 22, 1945 to the late Thomas Riggsby and Dora (Woodward) Troutwine. Darrell was known as “Mr. Springboro” and was greatly known around Springboro ball fields, and traveling with the Springboro High School Band to competitions. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Darrell is survived by his three sisters, Patricia Hughes, Donna Hayes, Pamela Wilson; brother, Thomas (Karen) Riggsby; five nephews; two nieces; seven great nephews and eight great nieces. Funeral services are 6:00 pm Friday, June 29, 2018 at Anderson Funeral Homes, 40 North Main Street Springboro, OH with Pastor Bobby Maggard officiating. Visitation will be prior to service from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm also at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Springboro Athletic Boosters.
