DARRELL RAY O’QUINN, 76 years of age of the Little Fox section of Vansant, VA, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the Maple Grove Nursing Home in Lebanon, VA, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Buchanan County, he was the son of the late Tivis and Nancy “Nan” Stevens O’Quinn. He was a longtime resident of Buchanan County and was of the Baptist faith. Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Kenneth Ray O’Quinn of Spotsylvania, VA; his grandsons, Kenneth Ray “June Bug” O’Quinn Jr. of Virginia and Edward Allen Horn Jr. of Swords Creek, VA; his granddaughter, Melonie Horn of Swords Creek, VA; his sister, Amie Lou O’Quinn (Sam) Widener of Bristol, VA; his brothers, Freddie Bernard (Betty) O’Quinn of Vansant, VA, Leon (Samma) O’Quinn of Lebanon, VA. Also, survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for DARRELL RAY O’QUINN will be conducted Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Roy Lee Wilson officiating with burial to follow in Stevens Cemetery on Little Fox, Vansant, VA. Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Friday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. Active Pallbearers will be family and friends.
