Obituary for Daniel Cornell Forde Daniel Cornell Forde, age 64, of Fayetteville, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018. Born in Konigsberg, Germany, on October 10, 1953, he was the son of the late Gerald and Elfriede Forde of Fayetteville. Dan attended Pine Forest Senior High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He loved Jimi Hendrix and never outgrew the 1960s. Dan had a lifelong interest in the Civil War and participated in reenactments of Civil War battles. He enjoyed learning about history and science by watching public television. Daniel is survived by his daughter Elissa (Alex) Evelyn of Honolulu, Hawaii; son Jules Oliver Forde of Los Angeles, California; stepdaughter Govina Taylor of Fayetteville; three grandsons; brother Michael (Claudia) Forde of Durham; sister Debra Woodard of Fayetteville; aunts Rose Marie Loske of Germany and Shirley Forde of Virginia, and five nieces and nephews.
