Obituary for Clifford “Allen” Klaiber Clifford “Allen” Klaiber Jr., 77, of Ashland, died Friday, June 15, 2018 at the Hospice Care Center. He was born September 15, 1940 in Ashland, the son of the late Clifford Sr. and Oreita Callahan Klaiber. He was retired from AK Steel, a member of the First Baptist Church of Russell and a U.S. Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Cyndy Sweeney Klaiber; two daughters, Shannon Keeran and Beth Osborn of Ashland; one son Jeff Klaiber of Mechanicsville, VA; two brothers, Jerry Klaiber of Ashland and David Klaiber of Bonita Springs, FL; one step daughter, Steffany Patterson of Flatwoods; one step son, Nik Seagraves of Letart, WV; eight grandchildren, Justin, Brady, Grace, Lydia, Lila, Joel, Sophie and Quinn. Memorial services will be conducted 6:00 PM Monday, June 18, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Russell by Pastor Ken Gowin. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
