Clara Lavon “Bonnie” Rowe, 82, of Stanford, KY passed away on Thursday, June 07, 2018 at Landmark of Lancaster Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Born July 13, 1935 in Lincoln County, Kentucky to the late Leslie Harmon Payne and Ida Burns Williams, she was the widow of the late William Henry Rowe. She worked as a homemaker for most of her life and was a member of Stanford Baptist Church. Survivors include her four children, Richard Rowe, Johnny Rowe, Darlene Spillman, and Christi Rowe all of Stanford, KY; two brothers, Leslie Payne and Jimmy Payne both of Tennessee; one sister, Wanda Gross of Lancaster, KY; twenty grandchildren; twenty two great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, Jesse Owens and Liam Rowe; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Billy Rowe; and a daughter, Debbie Rowe. A graveside service and interment will be held at a later date. Spurlin Funeral Home, Stanford is in charge of the arrangements.
