Southbridge/Charlton…Claire J. (Lusignan) Roy, 93, died Saturday, June 23, 2018, at The Overlook Masonic Health Center, surrounded by her family. Her husband of 65 years was the late Dr. Charles A. Roy, who died in October 2011. She is survived by her sons Charles A. Roy, Jr. and his wife Jill of Sturbridge, Richard Roy and his wife Heidi of Breckenridge, CO, and John Roy and his wife Mari of Charlton, 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and a sister Doris Bonin of Staunton, VA, nieces and nephews. She was born in Dudley, daughter of Albert and Rose (Choiniere) Lusignan and lived most of her life in Southbridge. Mrs. Roy was a longtime member of Notre Dame Church, and was also a member of Harrington Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She was a high school graduated and received her degree from Bucknell University. The funeral Prayer Service will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at 11AM with Rev. Robert Grattatroti in the James C. Nicholl, Jr. Chapel at The Overlook Masonic Health Center, 88 Masonic Home Road, Charlton, MA 01507. Burial will follow at New Notre Dame Cemetery, 746 N. Woodstock Road, Southbridge, MA 01550.
