Obituary for Cherry Jane Taylor Ms. Cherry Jane Taylor, age 57, of Centre, passed away Sunday June 17th at her residence. A memorial service will be 3 P.M. Saturday June 30th at Unity Hill Baptist Church with Rev. John Redding officiating. Survivors include sons Jay (Milo) Martin of Centre, Marquis (Joanna) Martin of Oxford; daughter Melissa (Lane) Elrod of Centre; sister Lisa (Archie) Floyd of Piedmont; grandchildren Quentin, Brianna, and Jasmine; great grandchild Brandon; Nephew and special sidekick Jarrett Floyd, several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her sister Betty Sue Brown; Niece Brooke Floyd; grandparents Loyd and Ruby Hitchcock. Ms. Taylor was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Bill and Mary Hitchcock Martin and was of the Baptist faith. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made toward funeral expenses.
