Charles S. Malik, Jr., 64, of Greensburg, died Saturday, June 23, 2018 in his home. He was born June 8, 1954 in Norfolk, VA, a son of the late Charles S. Sr., and Donna L. (Bell) Malik. Prior to retirement he had been employed by Hillview Motors, Greensburg and was a member of Hempfield Church of Christ, Greensburg. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Robert A. Thomas Malik; and his daughter, Barbara J. Thomas Malik. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sally J. (Thomas) Malik; his son, Steven Malik (Debbie), of Madisonville, KY; two daughters, Angela Swanson (Jason) and Danielle Jioio, all of Greensburg; 10 grandchildren; and two brothers, Theodore Malik (Sandy) and their children, Christopher and Samantha, of New Alexandria, and Robert Malik (Tanya) and their children, Brittani and Marissa, of South Greensburg. Honoring Charles’ request, there will be no public visitation. Private interment was held in Westmoreland County Memorial Park. A memorial service will be held at 1 PM Sunday in Hempfield Church of Christ, 144 Hugh Black Road, Greensburg with Pastor Mike Hazelton officiating. LEO M.
