Mr. Charles “Leon” Moose, 57, of Johnny Martin Lane, Stony Point, passed away on June 24, 2018 at his residence. Leon was born February 16, 1961 in York County, SC to the late Ray Moose and Elizabeth Hardin Moose. Leon was an outstanding human being giving to all and a great provider for all his children. He was also a protector of all his family and friends. He loved spending time with his family and always put others before himself. He was of the Baptist faith. He will always be cherished and will be truly missed. Those left to cherish his memory include: his wife, Letitia Church Moose; a son, Dustin Moose and wife, Flora, of Taylorsville; three step-children, Blake, Robert, and Brandon; granddaughter, Alexis Moose; five sisters, Sandy Kerley of Hiddenite, Carol McCurdy of Taylorsville, Beverly Sowers of Statesville, Gale Hoover of Taylorsville, Juel Chapman of Taylorsville; a brother, Bobby Moose of Taylorsville; brothers-in-law, Samuel Church, Andrew Church, John Church, Paul Church; a number of nieces and nephews. Services will be announced at a later date. Memorials may be made to: Mountain View Baptist Church, Building Fund, PO Box 1656, Taylorsville, NC 28681.
