Obituary for Cathie Johnson Cathie Henrietta Johnson, 78 of Sparta, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at her residence. Born Sunday, January 7, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Donald Smith and the late Henrietta Morrison Smith. Surviving are son, Kyle Johnson of Sparta; daughter, Kathi Johnson of Sparta; son, Koby Johnson of Oklahoma; daughter, Stacy Carden of Michigan; granddaughters, Kinsley Qualls of Sparta and Keena Walker of Michigan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Parkes Johnson. Funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday, June 16 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Jerry Pullum officiating. Burial will follow at Frasier’s Chapel Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5pm until 8pm on Friday, June 15 at the funeral home.
