Carolyn I. Wilhelm (Haven) died peacefully June 21, 2018 surrounded by her family. A lifelong Ravenna resident, Carolyn was born October 18, 1936 to the late Howard A. Haven and Vivian I. LaRocque (Royer). She was an alumnus of Ravenna Township School and member of the Alpha Iota sorority. She worked as an abstractor researching property titles and also sold jewelry and plants. Carolyn enjoyed traveling with her late husband Paul and was an avid gardener and reader. She regularly gathered with former classmates from Ravenna Township School and designed programs for their alumni banquets. Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Wilhelm and brother, Alan Haven. She is survived by her brother, Michael LaRoque; children, David (Vicki) Hoskin, Bethany (David) Thomas, and Douglas Hoskin; grandchildren, Michael (Deena) Thomas, Jennifer Thomas, Karen (Jason) Hubbard, Kevin (Alison) Hoskin, and Douglas and Christopher Hoskin; and great-grandchildren, Alexander, Samantha, Kaitlynn, Joshua, Tyler, and Bailey Thomas. Memorial calling hours will be Monday June 25, 2018 from 10:00 Am until time of memorial services at 11:00 AM at the First Christian Church in Ravenna, Ohio. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society.
