Obituary of Carol Duncan Carol Ellen Duncan , age 62 of Roodhouse died early Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at White Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in White Hall. She was born December 20, 1955 in Jacksonville, the daughter of George and Helen Leben Duncan. She is survived by her mother, Helen Duncan of Roodhouse, and a sister, Katherine Larson of Dennis Port, MS, and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her father. Carol graduated from Mac Murray College and was an English teacher for Jacksonville High School for many years. She later worked at Four Rivers School in Jacksonville. She was a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church in White Hall. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in White Hall with burial to follow in Fernwood Cemetery in Roodhouse. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society.
