Carol J. Baker, age 80, of Maineville, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018 at her home. She was born November 18, 1937 to the late Robert Edgar & Miriam Elizabeth (Delk) Myers in Greenville, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings Verl Myers and Mark Myers. She will be missed and remembered by her loving children Scott (Rita) Baker of Arcanum, Teressa (Tim) Mullins of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Cindy (Jeff) Geiger of Maineville; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and 2 on the way; siblings Steve (Elizabeth) Myers of Columbus, Joy (Mike) Keiley of West Chester, and Jean (Donovan) Besecker of Laura. Carol taught 2nd and 3rd graders for 31 years at Franklin-Monroe Schools and was a member of Potsdam Church of the Brethren. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, reading, going to church, sewing, and playing the piano. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Potsdam Church of the Brethren, 22 E. Cross St, Potsdam, OH. Burial will follow in Potsdam Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Monday, June 11 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton. Memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association.
