Carol Ruth Belsterli age 80, resident of Shelby died Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Crestwood Care Center in Shelby. Born September 23, 1937 to Carl and Alice (Noecker) Bendle, she had been a life long Shelby resident. Carol was a graduate of Shelby High School and was formally employed at Shelby Insurance Co., Perrotti Chrysler and Broadway Auto Parts. A member of the first Lutheran Church in Shelby, Carols enjoyed knitting, sewing, crocheting and helping with costumes for Pat Faulkners School of Dance as well as bowling, playing cards, line dancing and especially loved jigsaw puzzles. She is survived by two sons, Gary and Rob Belsterli, both of Shelby; two daughters Teresa “Teri” Kuhn of Shelby, Amy Belsterli of Mansfield; ten grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren; one sister Pat Faulkner of Bradenton, FL; nieces, nephews and other relatives In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Belsterli in 2013; three daughters, Tammy Belsterli, Annette Belsterli, and Valerie Jean Ritchie, two brothers, Glen Bendle and Gerald Bendle; one sister Janice Clark and brother-in-law Skip Faulkner. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, June 25, 2018 in Crawford County Memorial Gardens officiated by Reverend James Robinson. Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Avenue, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001
