Taft – Carlos B. Guerrero passed away May 31, 2018. He was 64. Carlos was born in Taft, Texas on May 17, 1954 to Pedro and Dora (Barrientes) Guerrero. He was an Industrial Painter and a lifelong resident of Taft. Preceding Carlos in death is his mother: Dora Guerrero and his father-in-law: Ulmer Sturgeon. Survivors include his wife: Nicky Guerrero of Taft, Texas; son: Gabriel Guerrero (Michelle) of Corpus Christi, Texas; daughter: Carla Guerrero (Dustin Gonzales) of Taft, Texas; grandchildren: Petty Officer 3rd Class US Navy Robyn Guerrero; Haley Guerrero; Devin Guerrero; Robbie Montemayor and Ryan Gonzales; brothers: Pete Guerrero, Jr. (Mary Alice); Luis Guerrero; Robert Guerrero (Mary Ann) and Ricky Guerrero, all of Goliad, Texas; and mother-in-law: Juliana Sturgeon of Taft, Texas. Visitation will begin on Sunday, June 3, 2018, 4:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A rosary will be held the same evening, 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, June 4, 2018, 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, Taft. Burial will follow in Palms Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Portland.
