Southbridge/Dudley…Candice Jean “Candy” Silva, 37, died Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at Bay State Medical Center in Springfield. She is survived by her son Domenic Card of Dudley, her mother and step-father Bonnie J. (Silva) and Ronnie Colon of Dudley, her father Gary Souza of Harwich, M, 2 brothers Jeremy Colon and his wife Jourhana of Southbridge, Gary Souza, Jr. of Harwich, and a sister Nicole Alves of Hyannis, MA, her maternal grandfather Richard Silva, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother Beverly (Boussy) of Southbridge. She graduated from high school in Barnstable, MA and later worked for many years as a PCA for a Home Health Care agency, and nursing homes. She was a an avid reader, enjoyed board games, playing cards, taking long walks, but she most enjoyed spending time with her son, and family. The funeral will be Tuesday, July 3, 2018, from Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge with a Mass at 10AM at Saint Mary’s Church, 263 Hamilton Street, Southbridge, MA 01550. Calling hours will be Monday, July 2, 2018, from 5-7PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in OakRidge Cemetery, Southbridge, MA 01550
