Billy Clayton Smith Sr October 11 1933 June 14 2018 (age 84)

Billy Clayton Smith, Sr., age 84, of Dobson, NC, passed away on June 14, 2018. He was born on October 11, 1933 to the late Clayton Dallas Smith and Bessie Key Smith. Mr. Smith is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Sue Key Smith; a son, Billy Clayton Smith, Jr. and wife, Frankie; two daughters, Teresa Hodges and husband, Gary and Margaret Carter and husband, Matthew; nine grandchildren, Kenny Hodges, Coley Hodges, Emma Carter, Rachel Carter, Thomas Hayes, Chrissy Hayes, Bonnie Southard, Amber Hayes, and Amy Hayes; and a sister, Joyce Fulk. He was predeceased by his son, James Davis Smith and one grandson, Timothy Key Hodges. A memorial service will be conducted on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Siloam Baptist Church at 3 P.M. with Rev. Bill Faw officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the cemetery fund of Siloam Baptist Church, c/o Margaret Carter, PO Box 25, Siloam, NC 27047.
