It is with profound sadness that the Romero Family announce the passing of their beloved Berna Serna Romero, a beautiful Wife, Mother and Grandmother and Sister; who went home to be with the Lord on June 23, 2018 at her residence in Denver, CO, surrounded by her loving family. Berna was born into this life on September 9, 1959 in Mora, New Mexico to her parents Ernesto and Rosita Serna, she was the 8th of 9 children born to this union. She attended High School in Mora, New Mexico. She was a an artist, enjoyed glass art and jewelry. She will be remembered for her many talents, very creative, a very generous, spiritual and very smart lady, she was an antique dealer. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernesto and Rosita Serna; Brothers, Belarmino and Ernest Serna, Jr; Grandparents Moises and Pirilia Pacheco and Florencio and Pabilita Serna; Nephews James Serna, Jeremy Serna and Dominic Serna. Those who will continue to cherish her loving memory is her beloved husband Edward Raymond Romero; Children Tasha & Steve Gonzales Ronald & Kristen Lovato, Ray & Christina Romero and Daniel Romero; Mother-in-law Nora Romero; Grandchildren Dustin, Cory, Samantha, Nate and Luke; Brothers Roy & Martha Serna, Albert & Arlene Serna, Andrew & Traci Serna; Sisters Theresa & Chris Madril, Annabelle & LeRoy Vigil, Grace & Rudy Gallegos; Sister-in-laws Rosie Serna and Judy Serna. Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews; a host of extended family and friends. Memorial Service, Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 7:00pm at the Romero Chapel Aurora, 15150 E.
