Barbara Jackson Elliott Moore age 87, of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018 at North Knoxville Medical Center. She was a member of Central Baptist Church Fountain City. Preceded in death by husband, James E. Moore; parents, Rev. Dewey and Eva Jackson; sister, Sharon Maria Jackson. Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth Elliott and Narvel Goforth; grandson, Dr. Charles Elliott Lewis; step-daughter and husband, Sandra and Donny Thomas; grandsons, Wesley, Brandon and Spencer Thomas; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Paul R. Jackson; sisters, Delores Gorman, Faye Jackson and Kay Towle. Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Stevens Chapel with Rev. Danny Nicely officiating. Interment will be private.
